Let the Bidding Begin at Spring Auction and Taco Lunch!
The Spring Auction/Lunch is an annual fundraiser to help provide our program with funding for items necessary that are not always covered by our annual budget. This year, we are hoping to raise funds to cover purchase of 2 new baritones and a new piano (to replace aging, beyond-repair equipment). We also would like to allocate a percentage of this year’s Auction profit towards next year’s Advanced Band Competition trip to Myrtle Beach, to help offset the cost so more students will be able to participate.
Preview auction items guaranteed to delight and surprise. Proceeds from your auction event will go to Meridianville Middle School Band in order to
provide an atmosphere in which students learn to succeed at playing musical instruments as individuals and as a group. The band program is dedicated to presenting students with music for the sole purpose of enriching the students’ total education. The band program seeks to prepare students for success in the All-District and All-State Bands, solo & ensemble competition, and in the Hazel Green High School Band. The band has a set goal of achieving superior ratings at all festivals and competitions.
