The Cal Band Auction is now OPEN for Bidding!
This is our one and only fundraising event for the entire year so its success is critical. 100% of the profits are used to support our Cal Band student members as they support and uphold campus traditions bringing Cal Spirit to important University functions, Cal football and basketball games and other Cal athletic events.

Bidding takes place online August 24-September 10, 2009.


Sign our guest book to receive e-mail alerts on new or featured items. To donate an item for the event, click on the donate item button at the top. Also, invite your friends and family members to join in on the fun and great deals by sending them a page of the catalog or having them sign the guest book.

How you can help
Donate an item or service to the auction. Suggested items include gift certificates, tickets, collectibles, trips, wine, and unique services and experiences. Donations will be auctioned to thousands of Cal Band alumni and friends.

About the auction
The Cal Band Auction provides a platform for businesses who want to create a lifetime relationship with the Cal Band community by sharing their products and services.

Make an impact
Proceeds will help the Cal Band with purchases of instruments, uniforms and travel.

Bid to Support the Cal Band!

Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and mission.

The Mission
The University of California Marching Band, with over 100 years of rich tradition and distinguished service to the University, is one of the oldest college marching bands on the West Coast. The Band is a highly visible ambassador for the University throughout the country and an essential element of Cal Spirit.

Marching Band - the 240 member fully-uniformed Marching Band is one of the few bands in the nation that still marches the traditional and demanding high-step form. Their entertaining and original home football half time shows highlight the musical creativity of the Band.

Straw Hat Band - this subgroup of the Marching Band performs throughout the year at various University, alumni and community events, Cal's away football games, basketball and volleyball games and other sporting events.

These items will ONLY be available at the NorCal 2009 Benefit at Round Hill Country Club on Friday, September 11, 2009, 6PM. Call (510) 643-2662 for reservations.
