WXXI'S ANNUAL AUCTION IS NOW OPEN!!
A 2011 Silver Metallic Ford Fiesta SE from Shepard Ford is just one of thousands of great items up for bid during WXXI’s Annual Auction.
Over 5,000 items are up for bid, including original works of art from the Auction’s favorite-featured artists Laura Wilder and Jim Christy, Electronics, Home and Garden Items, Restaurant Gift Certificates, Century Pittsford Wines/Max of Eastman Place Wine Tasting Luncheon, Bed and Breakfast Packages, Spa Packages and much more. But, this all ends on April 30th at midnight, so bid high and bid often!
WXXI’s Annual Auction, helps to insure that WXXI can continue to bring quality programs and services so many depend on in the Greater Rochester community. This includes PBS programming, National Public Radio (NPR), locally produced documentaries and programs, Ed.Video Online, outreach initiatives and more.
AUCTION PICKUP
If you need to pick up your merchandise that you won on the auction (identified by an (M) in front of the item number) you can do so on the following days: 5/10 from 1pm-6:30pm, 5/17 from 1pm-6:30pm, and 5/24 from 1pm-6:30pm. Merchandise can be picked up at WXXI Studios, located at 280 State Street. Please note, if you have won a Sentry Safe, please bring someone to help you. If none of these days work, you can make an appointment by calling 585-258-0357.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
If you have previously registered for an account (from last year's auction) you do not need to re-register. All you need to do is enter your previous year's user name and password. If you forgot this information, Click Here and your username and password will be emailed to you.
OVERBID INCENTIVE!
All bidders who overbid on merchandise valued at $25.00 or more will receive a $5 gift certificate from the Ravioli Shop, and a certificate for a free brick of delicious cheddar cheese from Cabot Creamery.
NEW YORK STATE SALES TAX CHARGE
Your credit card, will be charged 8.0% NY State sales tax due to NYS Law. This only applies to merchandise that is housed in our warehouse and will need to be picked up at the WXXI Studios. Sales tax will not be charged for all gift cards, certificates, and the merchandise the auction buyer will need to be picked up at the donor's site. Also, if you live out of state, tax will not be charged on your merchandise. All Merchandise has an (M) in front of the item number, whereas certificates that will be mailed to you have a (C). WXXI will gladly ship your items for you if you live out of the area or are unable to pick them up. Your credit card will be charged for the actual shipping cost and a small packing/handling fee. Please call 585-258-0357 if you have any questions. Please Note: If you are the high bidder of a Sentry Safe and live out of the area, you are responsible for arranging shipping.
