Mission Gratitude Online Auction Open! Let the Bidding Begin!

The Mission Gratitude auction to benefit the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital is now open. The auction will run from September 3, 2013 to September 30, 2013, with proceeds going to the Home Base Program to help veterans and their families recover from Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury.

On Monday, September 23, 2013 in Boston’s historic Symphony Hall, the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program invites you to Mission Gratitude. Join us as we celebrate our nation’s heroes with an evening of the highest-profile entertainment for those that wish to demonstrate their commitment to our service members, veterans and families.  The night features performances from The Band Perry, Big & Rich, Cassadee Pope, the Henningsens, Rita Wilson, Sarah Silverman and Darrell Hammond.  Tickets available at www.missiongratitude.com.

Founded in 2009, the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program provides clinical care and support services to service members, veterans and families affected by combat stress, deployment stress, or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI); education to clinicians and the community about the “invisible wounds of war;” and research to improve the understanding and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and TBI.  The Home Base Program is a philanthropic partnership between the Red Sox Foundation, the award-winning team charity of the Boston Red Sox, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
