Viewpoint's Online Auction was a huge success, and we have you to thank. We hope you enjoyed the Online Auction format of Viewpoint's Annual Benefit, which enabled more members of our community to take part in this important fund raising effort for our students.
Your generosity directly impacts Viewpoint's mission and enhances the everyday excellence that takes place in the classrooms and laboratories, and on the playing fields and stages of our School.

* Special Note to all Viewpoint Auction Bidders and Winners: Due to a system error at our online auction provider, cMarket, you may have received numerous, repetitive e-mails announcing that you are the Winning Bidder of an item, some of which may have been preceded by an e-mail stating you've been outbid. Some of these e-mails are incorrect, and we are working with cMarket to remedy the situation. You will receive an updated verification e-mail very shortly. In the meantime, you may verify your winning status by going to www.viewpointauction.org logging on, and clicking "My Items" at the top right of the home page.

Get Ready for the Benefit, 6:00 p.m., May 3 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel
The Online Auction may be over, but the excitement continues Saturday night, May 3 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel for Reflections, celebrating 25 years of Viewpoint's Benefit Tradition.
- The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. with the continuation of bidding in the three categories of Super Silent, Student Art, and Viewpoint's Own Teacher packages. There also will be 12 brand new Silent Auction items on which to bid!
- Enjoy the Martini and Oyster Bar during the cocktail hour, followed by a gourmet dinner at 7:30 p.m.
- Marla Maples and Adam Alexander will pump up the excitement of the Live Auction featuring 12 sought-after packages and more than a few surprises!
- The cover band Boogie Knights will keep the energy level up with their entertaining style and the best dancing music of the 80s. We look forward to a memorable evening!
Auction Closing Information
Viewpoint's Benefit Online Auction runs from 8:00 a.m. PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) Thursday, April 17 until 9:00 p.m. PDT Wednesday, April 30.
When the Online portion of the Auction closes, you will automatically receive an e-mail notifying you if you have won an Auction item. You will receive one e-mail for each item you win. Please retain this e-mail, as it is your official receipt for tax purposes.
In addition to the Live Auction items described online, three categories, Super Silent, Student Art, and Viewpoint's Own, will go to the May 3 Benefit for the completion of bidding during cocktails between 6:00 and 7:25 p.m. Even if you cannot attend the Benefit, you may still place an Absentee Bid on any item in those three categories, and an Auction Host will be assigned to place bids for you until you either win the item, or your proxy bid is over-bid by a Benefit guest. You may read more about Absentee Bidding by "clicking" on the link at the bottom of any Auction item page you visit.
How do I get my Auction prize(s)? If you win an Auction item at the Benefit, you may take it home if it is a certificate or a piece of Student Art. However, if you would rather pick-up your item at Viewpoint, here is the information you will need:
All other Auction certificates and merchandise will be available beginning Tuesday, May 6 at 9 a.m. in Viewpoint's Development Office located near the Calabasas Commons. The address is 23801 Calabasas Rd., Suite 2037. The suite is on the second floor in the north-east corner of the building. Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Student Art will be available on campus from Tuesday, May 6. You may arrange for pick-up by phoning Maggie Muniz in Viewpoint's Physical Plant Department at 591-6160.
