Capitol Hill Montessori at Logan is one of the city’s most unique schools. It is a PS3 through sixth grade public Montessori school, located within blocks of the nation’s Capitol and national museums, that draws approximately 300 children from diverse backgrounds throughout Washington, DC. It has been deeply rooted in the Capitol Hill community for over 20 years and has seen great success. Next year brings more excitement as we expand to include middle grades. In addition to our highly sought after primary and elementary programs, we will be adding a seventh grade next year and an eighth grade in the fall of 2015. It is no secret that our wonderful city needs more high-quality middle grades options. We are proud to expand our education campus to provide a rigorous and challenging middle grades academic program to support students’ inquisitive natures and inspire the skills, knowledge and habits necessary for scholarship and success in high school and beyond.
The Online Auction is an integral part of our fundraising strategy to ensure success for our school. Funds raised will help provide much-needed Montessori materials, professional development and digital and science equipment. Maintaining Montessori standards and achieving our goal requires contributions from parents, families and the DC community.
