In the Philippines, Interlock is teaming up with marine science groups and fishermen activists to find solutions to overfishing and re-grow fish stocks to feed the starving and provide livelihoods.
Here at home, we are promoting wise use of Boston’s waterways to stimulate grassroots environmental education. Earlier this year, we helped a group of nurses design communication techniques to improve infant survival rates in West Africa.
Our current projects also advance human rights, from a documentary that analyzes the impacts of religious reform in a Louisiana prison, to a feature that affirms the life of Margaret Fuller, an early leader in the abolitionist and gender equality movements.
