On Friday, April 23, 2010, Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education will host its 27^th Annual Benefit, “Champions for Children – It’s All About the Kids.” This year, the event will honor Irene and Fred Shabel for their many years of leadership and service in support of our organization and the over 6,500 young people it engages throughout Philadelphia and Camden.

Please join us in supporting the great work of Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education and saluting Irene and Fred by participating in our Benefit.

Close to 400 auction items are now open for viewing. Items range from exotic vacation getaways to away games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, and 76ers on team jets, and many more unique items.

Online bidding will run from March 29, 2010 to April 18, 2010. Bidding will continue the night of the event on April 23, 2010. You can purchase the item right away at a set price without waiting for the auction to end using the Buy It Now feature.

The mission of Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education is to create opportunities for a diverse cross-section of young people, especially those from low-income families and communities, to make positive choices in their lives, remain in and succeed in school, reject violence and other risky behaviors, and grow into active, responsible and productive citizens.
