The online portion of Folk Art Society of America 2011 Benefit Auction is now open. The auction will run from August 14, 2011 to September 13, 2011, with the live event taking place on September 16, 2011. Proceeds go to Folk Art Society of America in order to support the publication of the Folk Art Messenger magazine. Auction items range from southern folk art to international folk art and all items are guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
High bids in the online auction become the opening bids in the live auction on September 16. If you use the "bid up to this amount" feature, then we will execute bids at the live auction for you, in $5 increments, up to your maximum bid. Over the years we have had many online bidders who win their items!
Once the live auction is over, you will be notified if you have won an item within 5 busines days.
We will ship items to US addresses only. Packing and shipping will be added to your winning bid once the live auction is completed. The Folk Art Society of America uses a packer/shipper from the local area around the conference site. The amount added to your winning bid is the actual cost quoted by the shipper. You may also arrange for your own pickup from the Richmond, VA area, but this must be arranged in advance. Please contact us if you have any questions!
