Tipitina's Foundation's 2013 "Instruments A Comin'" online auction is now open open for bidding until 10 p.m. CST on May 13!

Tipitina’s Foundation 12th Annual “Instruments A Comin’” (IAC) online auction is now open for bidding until 10pm CST, May 13, 2013.  We will also have many great items up for bid at our silent auction during our live event beginning at 6 p.m. on Mon, April 29th at Tipitina’s Uptown, 501 Napoleon Ave., in New Orleans. 

This website will allow you to bid on our online offerings as well as to preview items that will be exclusively available at our silent auction on April 29.  The silent auction component of "Instruments A Comin'" is held on the neutral ground in front of Tipitina’s at 501 Napoleon Ave., and is FREE and open to the general public of all ages.

The outdoor activities at our April 29th live IAC event are also FREE, all ages, and open to the public beginning at 6pm.  Outdoor activities include:

Indoor activities begin at 8:30pm and require a ticket for entry (must be 18 years or older).  This year’s fabulous line-up includes: GalacticAnders Osborne, New Orleans Suspects, Bonerama, Dumpstaphunk,Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes, Big Sam's Funky Nation and many, many more.  Click here for a full line-up and to purchase tickets.  VIP and General Admission tickets are available by clicking here.

Since its inception in 2003, The Tipitina’s Foundation IAC program has been able to provide over $2.5 million in new, high quality musical instruments to over 75 schools and after school programs in the Greater New Orleans Metro Area.
