2nd Annual Connor Cures Gala and Silent Auction!

Why we are trying to Help Connor Cure Cancer:

On January 6th, 2013, Connor Robert White died at exactly 6 months old after a short battle with brain cancer.  He started getting sick just 6 and 1/2 half weeks prior, and passed away only 3 weeks after being diagnosed.  He had a very rare and aggressive brain tumor called an AT/RT that affects only 20-30 children a year in the United States and maybe 100 worldwide.  In his memory, we formed a 501c3 tax deductible organization, “Connor Cures” to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

How are we trying to help?

It is our belief that we need to use the money we raise to invest in the early clinical development of promising therapies for the treatment of children with cancer.  We believe this investment will expedite the cancer research process and in the long-term Help Connor Cure Cancer.    We are working with some of the top pediatric oncologists in the country to fund a clinical trial that is showing extreme promise in treating AT/RT and other soft tissue tumors.
