The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation auction is now open and will remain open until March 2, at 5pm Pacific Standard Time.

In addition to perusing the unique auction items, we ask you to consider making a contribution to our Fund-A-Future Campaign honoring the memory of LtCol Christopher K. “Otis” Raible USMC, who was killed in action in 2012 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. In September of 2012, LtCol Raible was in command of Marine Attack Squadron 211, also known as the VMA-211 Avengers. Deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, LtCol Raible and his fellow Avengers had been in country just over five months when insurgents launched a coordinated attack on their position and breached the base at Camp Bastion.  Running toward the sound of gunfire and armed with no more than his pistol, Raible was among the first to engage the enemy. He moved decisively to organize an immediate defense and launch a counter attack against the Taliban infiltrators. While engaged, LtCol Raible and one of his men, Sgt Bradley Atwell, were killed by explosions of rocket-propelled grenades.

Help us honor LtCol Raible and the Marines who carry on his heroic legacy If you would like to donate, click on DONATE CASH to make your commitment to:

OF THE

MARINE CORPS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION!

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the oldest and largest organization providing scholarship support to military families that for more than 50 years has helped accomplish what many Marines cannot do alone. Since 1962, the Scholarship Foundation has never turned away an eligible applicant, having awarded more than 33,000 need-based scholarships valued at almost $90,000,000 to children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen. For the 2014-2015 academic year, the Scholarship Foundation is supporting 2,200 students with nearly $6,600,000 in scholarships. These awards help set positive, new paths for these young men and women while honoring our nation’s brave Marines and Corpsmen.
