The Silent Auction, part of THE Plant Sale for the Civic Garden Center, is open. The auction runs online from April 6 to April 29, 2015, and concludes live at the Preview Party for THE Plant Sale on May 1, 2015. All proceeds support the Civic Garden Center's mission to build community through gardening, education and environmental stewardship.
THE Plant Sale is our major fundraiser of the year. Silent Auction bidders and donations have helped fund expansion of CGC’s Community Garden program to more than 60 local food-growing plots, most of which are in our most needy neighborhoods. Children (K-college), adult garden newbies, as well as horticulture and environmental experts benefit from classroom and hands-on learning opportunities all year long.
