MDA finds treatments and cures! We have been a part of nearly ever muscle disease breakthrough by funding research projects worldwide to help more discoveries from the science lab to families. We also except more new drugs in the next 5 years than in the previous 50 years!
MDA supports families! We help those living with muscle disease at nearly 200 clinics in the top hospitals across the nation. We host thousands of kids at a free summer camp every year helping build their confidence and independence. We provide families with the information they need to make decisions about their diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials and daily support.
MDA rallies communities to fight back! We work with lawmakers to give families a voice and fight muscle disease through policy change. We bring communities together to raise funds and awareness at local events. We partner with generous corporations and organizations to extend our reach into communities everywhere!
