Art with Heart is fund-tastic benefit for furry friends at the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia to be held February 20, 2016.
PLEASE NOTE: ONLINE PRE-SALE of event tickets is now CLOSED. There are a very limited amount of tickets which will be on sale Saturday night on a first-come basis beginning at 7 p.m. at the door.
Art with Heart is an art auction fundraiser benefiting the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA). Started in 2010, to date, the event has raised more than $150,000 to support HSNEGA's efforts to rescue and rehome companion animals from throughout our community.
For 2016, Art with Heart will include both an online auction and a live event so all of our supporters can get in on the auction action!
ONLINE AUCTION: The Art with Heart Online Auction will be held Thursday, February 11 at 5 p.m. through Monday, February 15 at 8 p.m. The online auction will feature exclusive art chosen specifically for the online event. Whether you are attending the live event and want to get in "bidding practice," or you cannot attend but want to support HSNEGA, the online auction is a great opportunity to win some wonderful items while supporting homeless animals.
LIVE EVENT: HSNEGA will be hosting Art with Heart 2016 Saturday, February 20, from 7-11 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville, located on Club Drive off Thompson Bridge Road. The event will feature fine art, folk art, pottery, fine woodworking, sculpture and other types of artwork donated by renowned national and regional artists. All artwork will be available for silent auction.
Deluxe non-art auction package including sports memorabilia, spa packages, and other items also will be available in the silent auction. The evening also will feature many artwork items for immediate sale including jewelry and art prints.
More than 70 artists and 150 pieces of artwork were featured at Art with Heart 2015 including Amanda Lovett, Pat Burd, Alice Paris, Janet Cornett, Steve Meadows, Lydia Ferguson, Steve Penley, Marian Baker, Dana LeBlanc, Alice Paris, Frank Norton Jr., and Kathy Wolfe, just to name a few.
Tickets for Art with Heart are $55 per person or $100 per couple. Ticket price includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary wine bar sponsored by Barefoot Bubbly & Wine. A limited number of tickets are available. T
