El Dorado Arts Council presents the Apassionato Online Auction!
Let the Bidding Begin!
The Apassionato 2015 Auction is now open!
The auction will run from August 13, 2015 to October 2, 2015, with proceeds going to El Dorado Arts Council in order to support such worthwhile programs such as:
Poetry Out Loud - a national poetry recitation contest through which high school students progress from classroom competitions to high school finals, then to county and state competitions, leading up to the national competition in Washington D.C.
Veteran's Voices - A free, ongoing writing workshop for veterans with special outreach to those vets struggling with PTSD.
Grant Program - Supporting the visual, performing and literary arts such as those given to Bringing Arts to Schools in South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado High School's Studio's Studio 81, and Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp.
Gallery at the Fausel House - Promoting the work of local artists with a rotating exhibition schedule, book readings and artist talks, receptions and other community events.
Bringing Arts to Schools - An art appreciation and art history program for students in kindergarten to fifth grade.

Please note that the online auction will close the day before the Apassionato event, so make sure you get your bids in! These items will be awarded October 2, to the highest bidder and will not be available at the live event.
