Welcome to the Center for American Indian Health's online auction to raise funds for NativeVision's 20th Sports and Lifeskills Camp for American Indian Youth!
From January 4 - February 15, 2016, Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health is auctioning off 4 tickets to the 2016 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in Los Angeles to raise money for NativeVision's 20th Sports and Lifeskills Camp for American Indian Youth.
NativeVision is an innovative, strengths-based program that promotes healthy lifestyles, the pursuit of education, cultural connectedness, fitness and nutrition among American Indian youth through a sports engagement strategy. It is propelled by professional and collegiate athlete volunteers paired with Johns Hopkins public health experts and tribal leaders. The overall goal is to protect, strengthen and inspire the next generation of Native leaders.
Now going into its 20th year, NativeVision was launched in 1996 by Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health in partnership with the NFL Players Association and the Nick Lowery Charitable Foundation. Free of charge for all who participate, it now serves 1,500 American Indian youth annually through intensive summer camps as well as year-round after-school programs.
