Thanks to Mother Nature’s sense of humor, Politz Panoply and Gala Auction have been rescheduled to Sunday, January 24 at 7pm at the Katz JCC. Even though we're moving the game, we're still going to have lots of fun. A few things to note:

• Shucks, now I can’t play! We’ll miss you terribly but please see if someone can take your spot. This event is fundraiser for our school and we hope that if you are not able to come that you can sell your tickets to a friend, roll your ticket into auction tickets, or make a (tax-deductible) donation to the school. Team captains, please email Pauline Kleinburd with any table changes and please make sure all new team members know to check in by their team name at the event.
• Great, now I’m available! Fantastic: we welcome last minute registrations and walks-ins. If you’ll be tired of staying home and want to get out, come on over and bring your friends and favorite drink. Warm up your body and brain at this fast paced and fun game!
• It’s Sunday and I have to work on Monday…Come on!  You’re still young enough to be out on a school night. We are starting earlier and will end at a responsible time to ensure you all get your beauty sleep.
• There's a major playoff game on TV. Yes,we know. Thanks to modern technology, you can record the game. We will also be happy to announce the score throughout the night, since we are the only ones allowed to use cell phones!
• My babysitter is not available…Have no fear! Reach out to us and we’ll reach far and wide to enlist the help of the many teenagers in the area. A wonderful thing about being a community is that we can all help each other out.

We are confident that the roads will be cleared and safe for driving by Sunday evening. If that’s not the case, we’ll let you know.
 
Now that your Saturday night is free, you have plenty of time to BID on the online auction! Stay tuned for some exciting twists and turns to our auction, and enjoy the fun in your PJ’s.
 
We’re disappointed too but there’s nothing like embracing what is thrown at you (except a snowball) and making the best of it. All of this excitement only adds to the fun.
