At Chester County Hospital, we are dedicated to giving every baby in Chester County a healthy start in life. For new families in crisis, this means having the expertise - skilled physicians and nurses, compassionate care, and a partnership with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - to handle even the most challenging cases close to home.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Chester County Hospital manages the care of babies who have special medical concerns. Led by a team of neonatologists from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) on staff at Chester County Hospital and complemented by skilled nurses, our Level III NICU administers to the specialized needs of infants who require advanced care upon birth.
We have the only Level III NICU certification in the county. This means the hospital has in-house neonatology specialists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The care we provide is family-centered, attentive, and professional. Care is delivered in a safe environment and is individualized to the needs of the tiniest patient. This level of care is only possible with the support of friends like you.
