The Sacred Future Israel Online Auction is Open!

Thank you for supporting Sacred Future in bringing Grief Ritual to Israel! Our auction will run from September 28, 2016 thru Thanksgiving, November 24, 2016, with all proceeds directly supporting Grief Ritual in Israel. We have some amazing items up for bid, with more being added all the time! Let the bidding begin!

Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues, and Allies around the world,

I need your help in fundraising $7000 for three people from Sacred Future to fly to Israel in November. Yes, I am one of those people. I have been invited by my new colleagues, Lotan Sapir, Tal Penner, and Adi Avigail, to offer Grief Ritual work in Israel. We leave on October 27, and return on November 9, 2016. 

My friends in Israel and their friends - Palestinian, Israeli, and Jordani, are activists on the front lines of peace work. They are artists, therapists, dancers, and group leaders in earth-based healing work. They see the value of Grief Ritual for their communities. The grief is tremendous in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, not just right now but through thousands of years of ancestral suffering.
I don’t pretend to know what this level of trauma and grief is for my Israeli colleagues, but we will do whatever we can, with all our combined skill and wisdom, to create something deeply valuable for their communities.
In committing to traveling to Israel to offer this work, I have invited my husband, Duane Vos, and Kendra McKenna, a Sacred Future senior mentor (and my dear friend) to join me. There’s no way I would assume I could offer this work there alone.
We plan on not just offering a 3-day Grief Ritual and workshop, but also a Grief Ritual Facilitator Training, so the work can continue on once we leave.

• This work will give the attendees a Community Healing modality that will allow them to move their grief, rather than become congested with unbearable and overwhelming fear.
• We will teach tools and personal practices to support attendees in continuing this work, individually and in groups, once we leave.
• This work will strengthen community and create channels of collaboration.
• This work will invite the attendees to experience a powerful reconnection to the resources of nature and healthy Ancestors
• And for those who go through the Facilitator Training, they will receive the skill to lead earth-based ritual and adapt this model to their community’s needs in diverse ways.

Starting on November 21, 2016, Sacred Future School will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our journey - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.
