The 2017 Mulberry Farm and School Auction is ready for your bids!

Now entering its 16th year, Mulberry Farm and Classroom in Santa Rosa is one of the longest running schools specializing in the Waldorf curative curriculum. Central to the Waldorf education is a recognition of and a respect for the child's unfolding individuality. The curriculum is designed to meet the child's specific developmental needs from the early years through high school. Our mission at Mulberry is to offer the Waldorf curative curriculum in an alternative setting for children who do not flourish in a larger classroom.

At Mulberry Farm and Classroom the children split their time between the Farm where the practical work of caring for animals and tending a garden not only helps them learn spatial orientation, it also gives them a sense of pride, accomplishment and ownership. It is in the classroom where they continue their academic work in small groups. They learn woodworking, handwork, painting, music and start their day with therapeutic movement. Through this work many children have been able to return to a larger classroom, ready to take up their work academically and socially.
