The Empty Bowl Online Auction is now open. The auction will run from now until April 12, 2017 - 3 p.m. CDT. This auction features beautiful bowls from some of our region's best potters and artists. Please show your support of their generosity and bid for a great cause. Proceeds  benefit Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank and its hunger relief efforts throughout NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. So, tell your friends, family, community and let the bidding begin!

Please Note: All bowls may be picked up at our office (4503 Airpark Blvd, Duluth, MN 55811), Monday through Friday, between 8:00am - 4:00pm unless other arrangements have been made. If you prefer to have your bowl(s) shipped we will gladly arrange shipping throughout the United States. You will, however, incur the full cost of having your bowl shipped. Please allow 2-4 weeks for bowl arrival.

Now is your chance to not only acquire a beautiful and collectible Empty Bowl, but you can do it knowing you are helping support our food bank and its hunger relief efforts. 

Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank is the region's only food bank and rescuer of nationally and regionally donated food to NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin non-profit agencies as well as people in need.  Last year, thanks to generous contributors like you, our food bank rescued and distributed 5.5 million pounds of food or enough food for 4.4 million meals.

Mark your calendars for Empty Bowl!

Sea of Bowls will be held Monday, April 10, 2017, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at The Duluth Depot, 506 W. Michigan Street.  This gallery-style Empty Bowl preview event occurs the evening prior to Empty Bowl. Attendees not only have first pick of their handcrafted Empty Bowls, they're able to enjoy live entertainment, and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public and bowls range in price from $25 - $100.

Empty Bowl will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. at The Duluth Depot, 506 W. Michigan Street. Empty Bowl showcases over 1,500 handcrafted bowls created by professional and amateur artists, students and community members. Attendees are able to choose their bowl, enjoy delicious soup, bread and beverage, live entertainment, a Silent Auction and more. This event is open to the public, the meal is free and bowls are $20.
