10th Annual Magic & Miracles: A Decade of Opportunity
The 10th Annual Magic & Miracles gala benefitting Ready, Willing & Working will be taking place on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at The Heritage Foundation’s Rooftop and Theatre. Join us for a fabulous evening of live music, catering from award-winning local restaurants and a silent auction as we honor our model program’s founders, George and Harriet McDonald of The Doe Fund, New York.

You Can Make a Difference
Since 1990, The Doe Fund’s Ready, Willing & Able has transitioned more than 22,000 men to contributing members of society after years of incarceration and homelessness. Their philosophy of “Work Works,” along with services like case management and life-skills training, is what makes this nationally recognized organization so successful.
Ready, Willing & Working has grown from eight men in 2008 to over fifty “Men in Blue” currently earning a living wage and excellent benefits. The funds raised through Magic & Miracles provide the supportive services that are critical to life-long stability.
I am asking for your support so that we can continue to expand the Ready, Willing & Working program to break the cycles of homelessness, welfare dependency and criminal recidivism. With a success rate of 70%, participants will never be homeless or incarcerated again.
