Help the International Association of Emergency Managers Scholarship Program with its Online/Silent Auction Fundraiser
Starting on Nov. 2, 2017, the IAEM Scholarship Program will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money to to provide scholarships to deserving students earning degrees in emergency management, disaster management or a closely related field of study. Since 2002, the IAEM Scholarship Program has provided $98,500 in scholarships through a competitive process to 56 students.
Emergency managers work in the community to prevent disasters before they happen through appropriate mitigation programs and to provide a unified response in the event a disaster occurs. The IAEM Scholarship Program was established to nurture, promote and develop disaster preparedness and resiliency by furthering the education of students studying the field of emergency management, disaster management or a related program. Information about the program is available on the IAEM website.
