Meet the 2018 Honorary Chairman and Visionary Artist

Meet Todd Reed and Raw Elegance

Todd Reed is an American artisanal luxury jewelry company renowned for creating works of art using recycled metals and sustainably-sourced raw and fancy-cut diamonds. Todd Reed creations are all one-of-a-kind, hand-forged and finished by master jewelers in the Boulder, CO studio. Todd Reed creates an alchemy of precious metals and stones that merge rugged natural beauty with refined sculptural elegance - Raw Elegance. It is a vision that fuses the iconoclastic spirit of an artist, the unwavering, hand-made ethos of an artisan, and the sustainable methods of a modern-day steward.

Todd Reed recently sat down and responded to a few of our questions as he is preparing to return to Easton for the Craft Show....a remarkable conversation!

Meet Our 2018 Featured Artists

Ashley Buchanan

Ashley Buchanan is a full-time jewelry artist currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. She participates in high end craft shows across the country and sells her work in galleries, shops and online. She has exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries and museums such as The Racine Art Museum, the Museum of Art and Design in New York and SOFA Chicago to name a few.

When making her powder coated, metal jewelry she focuses on image, pattern and decoration in order to reference ornamentation and historical jewelry. Ashley’s goal is to create wearable works of art that push the boundaries of jewelry while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

Holly Anne Mitchell

Newspaperjewelry.com is a unique collection of eco-friendly jewelry consisting of recycled newspaper. This collection is proudly made in The U.S.A. by award-winning artist, Holly Anne Mitchell.

Holly Anne began exploring newspaper as an artistic medium back in 1990 while studying metalsmithing at The University Of Michigan. She had an assignment to create a piece of jewelry which did not consist of any traditional jewelry materials (no metal, precious stones, etc.). "I chose the Chicago Tribune newspaper comic strips because of their bold, vibrant color patterns and the character's facial expressions. I discovered the best way to bring out these aesthetic strengths is to transform the newspaper into beads. I've been exploring this material ever since!"

Rebecca Myers

I have been designing and fabricating fine jewelry for over twenty years. My jewelry echoes a passion for my garden and the allure of the natural world. I am constantly inspired by nature’s curiosities and feel a deep sense of awe when the seasons come alive. It’s what drives me to evolve my technique and produce work that is both current and grounded.

In my jewelry designs, an organic form may take on a literal translation, which is achieved through a casting process, or reveal itself as an abstract hint, teased out by layering texture, pattern and sparkle. I work in high karat gold, palladium and silver, and favor natural gemstones to highlight their innate brilliance and flaws.

I see fashion and art as bedfellows. I stay true to my craft while producing pieces that are sexy and wearable. My work appeals to women who have a confident sense of style, who appreciate the depth of technique of thoughtfully designed, expertly crafted fine jewelry. Ultimately, it’s about the way the jewelry makes you feel when you put it on.
