The Online Auction is Open!

The Oklahoma City Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi Gathering of Angels Online Silent Auction 2018 is now open. The auction will run from February 19, 2018 to March 7, 2018, with proceeds going to the Oklahoma City Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi's chosen recipients, Santa Fe South Elementary and Payne Education Center in order to support literacy efforts in the Oklahoma City community.  If the funds raised through this event exceed the grant requests of our beneficiaries, excess funds will be sent to Pi Beta Phi Foundation to benefit other literacy programs across the country.  It may also be reserved for next year's Gathering of Angels so that we can continue to assist other local efforts that would further the work of Pi Beta Phi's goals of improving literacy and education in our nation. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!

Funds raised through this event assist in providing funding for local and national philanthropies focused on increasing literacy among America’s youth. Proceeds for this year’s Gathering of Angels luncheon will continue this tradition. Payne Education Center trains teachers to prevent reading difficulties in children and to remediate dyslexia, while serving as a resource and referral center. Santa Fe South is an inner city public charter school.

This year’s beneficiaries, Payne Education Center and Santa Fe South Elementary, applied through a grant application to receive a portion of funds raised at the event. The 2017 Gathering of Angels raised more than $32,000, so the 2018 event hopes to match or surpass that number through the generous donations of community members.
