Friends of Homeless Animals needs help naming kittens!

Starting on June 15, 2018, Friends of Homeless Animals will be auctioning off the chance to help name a new litter of kittens.  There are three boys, born on March 24.  We are going to run an auction for ten days and YOU get to bid for the honor of naming a kitten.  Will you honor a beloved pet or relative?  Maybe suggest the name of your favorite cocktail or super hero?  Your favorite city?  Your favorite hockey player? Have fun and help us come up with a name that will get the kitten adopted.

This will be the kitten's official name while they are in FOHA custody.  This name will appear on the website, in social media postings and on their FOHA paperwork until they are adopted.  (Adopters can change the name if they wish.) Here are the rules:

  1. Winner suggests a name and two alternates.
  2. Names cannot duplicate the name of any other cat currently in FOHA's custody
  3. Names cannot be political, religious, vulgar, or racist.
  4. Names should not exceed 14 characters.

Give a little and get a lot in return.
Money raised will help with medical expenses for the kittens.  They will need to be vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered, plus checkups as they grow.  It is estimated that medical expenses for the litter will probably total over $1200.

If interested in adopting one (or more) of the kittens, they will be available soon.

Donations to the medical fund are always appreciated.  If you would like to donate to the medical fund but don't wish to participate in the auction, donations can be made online (http://foha.org/index.php?id=46&productid=10) OR at the shelter OR or via mail: FOHA, attn: Medical Fund, P.O.
