Foxes on the Fence is closed for 2019...if you didnt win please donate towards the Bronze Fox!!
Bidding will start April 1, 2019. The Middleburg Garden Club will be auctioning off 38 handpainted Foxes and Hounds leaping on the fences on the corner of West Washington Street and Pendleton Street in historic downtown Middleburg, Virginia. Whether you call our Hunt Country home or your favorite destination, this is an opportunity for you to own an original piece of art in the spirit of our Village. Every artist donated their time and vision for their unique art piece, representing many genres and techniques.
Each Fox is 4 foot long and made from a composite material that will stand the test of time indoors in your home or barn or even outside in the garden. Every Fox and Hound has hooks and wire on the back ready to hang or you could mount them on a post.
Winning bidder is responsible for picking up the art May 18, 9-4:00pm at Washington St downtown Middleburg or arranging shipping by June 1 through Middleburg Garden Club Dlcadenas@aol.com. Please print off your receipt and bring it with you!

Part of Middleburg lore has always included in its heart and soul the Fox. This endearing symbol has adorned homes,schools,banks and taverns for over 100 years. The town of Middleburg is excited to announce an initiative to commission a large 6' long bronze Fox monument to be placed in the heart of our town for all to enjoy. We look forward to everyone enjoying this amazing sculpture. We are currenting trying to raise 5,000.00 to finish this project. If everyone pitches in a little we will have alot!!! We can raise the rest of the funds with your help!
