The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is a private, nonprofit, community-based organization that serves:

• Children who have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned;
• Children with severe emotional disturbances and in need of mental health care;
• Children in the custody of parents or relatives who are chronic runaways and/or are ungovernable

We contract with the lead agency for community-based care services to nearly 1,000 children, including residential group care, in-home family counseling, and a variety of other services designed to achieve permanency for these children.

We offer a wide array of behavioral health services for children and adolescents. The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is committed to making a difference in the life of a child.

We do this through two primary focus areas: counseling and therapy services; and family and community support programs.

Our mission is to help children and families help themselves to live a better life and build a stronger community.

Each year, our services touch the lives of more than 6,500 children and families throughout Miami-Dade County.
