Aloha and welcome to the YWCA of Kaua'i 12th Annual Na Wahine Alaka'i O Kaua'i Online Auction.

The YWCA of Kaua'i has been dedicated to empowering the women of our local island community since its inception in 1921. In recent years, one way we have honored and celebrated the strong and inspiring changemakers of Kaua'i has been through our annual Na Wahine Alaka'i O Kaua'i Event. Each year we recognize incredible women whose leadership and contributions have helped to improve lives and motivate others by example. This year that effort felt more important than ever, given the challenges we have collectively faced. Although we were unable to host our annual Awards Gala due to COVID-19, we still wanted to highlight the tireless efforts of women on the front lines in our community: in schools, hospitals and clinics, and small businesses. We've also moved our annual silent auction to this virtual space, to offer a fun way to participate and continue to support the YWCA of Kaua'i. We couldn't do our work without the thoughtful generosity of our donors and community, and we are deeply appreciative of the ongoing support.

The auction will run from Black Friday, November 27, 2020, 12:01 am, until December 3, 2020, 9 pm HST, with proceeds helping to fund YWCA of Kaua'i programs, including domestic violence and sexual assault services, prevention education, and racial justice advocacy. The YWCA of Kaua'i is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
