Katherine Delmar Burke School – Kindergarten and First Grade Quilt

Kindergarten and First Grade Quilts are here!

Thank you to our wonderful Quilt Teams that worked hard this year to create these works of art! Happy Bidding!

Class of 2030 Quilt:

Inspired by Dancing through the Decades, this year's quilt showcases each of our kindergartners displaying their favorite 80's outfit and pose! Each student selected their costume and props for pictures on Burke's campus.

On the front of the quilt - student images were photographed and printed and their names were embroidered on the black color blocks next to help identify each student.

The photographs that comprise this quilt make it a unique and priceless work of art. It will be a cherished souvenir of the first, precious year together at Burke's.

The 2022 quilt will grow more and more valuable as the class of 2030 continues making, playing, and using their imaginations to make the impossible possible! We know the winning bidder will be sure to treasure this item for many years to come as many others have!

Class of 2029 Quilt:

The theme of our quilt is ?Love & Community? and it was truly a communal effort across the students and parents to bring it to life. The students put extra love and attention in painting 45 individual, unique heart art pieces. But once all 45 hearts were brought together in our quilt, the vibrant colors and their uniqueness truly sing together to create a one-of-a-kind quilt! â¤ï¸Â
