An evening of live music, dancing, casino games, Cuban cuisine, live and silent auction all to benefit the building of a playground at Cesar Batalla School in Bridgeport, CT.
In 2007, the Cesar Batalla school in Bridgeport was rebuilt due to asbestos. The costs incurred precluded the school from building a playground. The Pre-K to 2nd graders sit on a grassy field during recess. These children struggle in every way. Their childhood is one of survival and need. Yet the most basic childhood wish, a place to have imaginative play, isn’t provided for them.
