Help us help them. Make your bid and make a difference in a child's life.

Our mission is to provide an uplifting environment for abused children, empowering them through the experiences of fly-fishing. We partner with esteemed nonprofits like The Big Oak Ranch to send their kids on a once in a lifetime trip. Every dollar raised goes to fund airfare, fishing gear and lodging for the children. To learn more about our organization and to watch a video from our trip last year, visit our website.

Here's more about the On River Time experience:

The On River Time “Camp” was designed to provide an opportunity for children ages 8 to 17 who have suffered abuse or neglect to spend two days on the river fly-fishing with a parent or guardian. We partner with The Lodge at Palisades Creek and nonprofits who provide homes for children in need. We work with nonprofit leaders to select children who will benefit most from this camp and fly them out to Irwin, Idaho for two days of fishing on The Snake River, fellowship and fun.

On River Time is all about having fun in a serene outdoor setting far away from the challenges these youth face everyday. It’s a place to unplug and unwind while tuning into the lessons that the outdoors has to offer. More than anything, it’s a safe place to interact with other kids who have had similar life experiences and meet positive mentors.

Even before our program participants step foot on the grounds of the lodge, we make sure they are provided with the resources they need for a successful fly-fishing experience. All kids and parents or guardians are equipped with free rods and reels, flies, hats and T-shirts. Throughout the fishing excursions, all children and adults are accompanied by an experienced fly guide to instruct them on the sport and teach them about the ecology of the river.

Starting on May 10, On River Time will be auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to bid on to raise money for our organization - and the more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.
