Experience the magic of Carnaval in full bloom!

Join us on February 5 at Carnaval 2022: Avant Garden and shine a light on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) education!

This 11th annual legendary fundraiser supports the Clay Center's ongoing operations and education programs. When you attend Carnaval, you get to enjoy the best party in town, but more importantly, you make an immediate impact on the creative economy and access to the arts and education.

THE CARNAVAL ART AUCTION IS BACK!

Friends of Clay is excited to bring back the Carnaval Art Auction as part of Carnaval 2022: Avant Garden! This fabulous week-long online auction will once again feature work by local and regional artists, as well as pieces from personal collections. Check the Friends of Clay social media page for artist spotlights and item updates!

THE SAFETY OF OUR GUESTS IS TOP PRIORITY

We're making every effort to ensure you have a safe and fun experience at Carnaval 2022...

What you will see:

Masks will be available throughout the building - and if you can't find them, staff will be circulating and can point you in the right direction.

Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the building.

Plenty of space to move around. Between the Ticketing Lobby, Grand Lobby, Maier Foundation Performance Hall, and Walker Theater, we've got the space for guests to move through the event space comfortably throughout the evening.

What you won't see:

Upgraded HVAC filters

Increased air ventilation & circulation - 100% of the air will be piped from outside.

UV-C lights disinfect the mold, bacteria, and viruses as it passes through the system.

NPBI (Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization) rids the air of viruses, bacteria, and allergens by introducing negative and positive ions into the air after filtration and UV disinfection.

The combination of the equipment listed above is the most effective technology to date for cleaning and decontaminating indoor air in large facilities like the Clay Center.
