Item Description

Four cabochons of light green to medium blue turquoise from the legendary Nevada mine of Emerald Valley form the squash blossom earrings and matching necklace charms. Twisted sterling silver wire highlights each center stone. Handcrafted by Navajo artist Dean Livingston, the design of the crescent-shaped necklace pendant, or naja, features fifteen individually set stones. The naja design was introduced to the Navajo by the Spanish. The sterling silver beads have a stamped design. Piece is stamped sterling and signed by artist.

Emerald Valley is a Nevada mine that produces a deep forest green turquoise with some shades of blue. The stone is very beautiful and rich in color.
