Item Description
This is a Wine Basket from the Kyra Wines. It is featuring two bottles of Kyra PSV Red Blend wine. Kyra PSV Red Blend is a Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Kyra's Purple Sage Vineyard. Bright juicy plums are the entrance to a full mouth complexity of smoky cedar, ripe cherries, tobacco, and black pepper. Perfect to pair with meatloaf, roast beef, or grilled steak…or simply sip by the fire on a chilly night!
In addition to the wine, 2 "Kyra" wine glasses, a "Kyra" corkscrew, a wine bag carrier, a cheese knife, a cheese button and a package of decorator napkins, all are beautifully wrapped in a black basket with red ribbon flower outside.

Kyra, with a B.S. degree in Bacteriology from the University of Idaho, started making wine in small private lots in 1999. Today, the Pheasant Vineyard now includes 75 acres, and Purple Sage Vineyard encompasses 100 acres on the Wahluke Slope.
While Kyra Baerlocher is the winemaker for the six year old winery, her husband, Bruce, oversees the vineyard operation. They are happy to donate this item to the Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles department in honor of their daughter, Marsha, a soon-to-be AMDT graduate.
