Item Description

This auction is for an early 1930s Detroit Jewel gas stove. This stove features a 4-burner gas cook top with cover, as well as an oven, broiler, and 2 storage drawers. The stove retains 99% of its original parts, but two of the plastic knobs are broken. The porcelain is in fair condition with a few chips, and there is some surface rust inside some of the compartments. Basically, this stove is in need of complete restoration, as its current working condition is unknown. A fully restored Detroit Jewel stove can run as much as $3500.00. In its current condition, this stove could be a great decorative piece, in which case it would only need a good cleaning. Measurements are approximately 2' deep X 3' wide X 3' high.
