Item Description
Up for bid is this official collegiate MSU leather football hand signed by the head football coach and two of their 2009 star players. Head coach Mark Dantonio, senior center Joel Nitchman (#65), and junior linebacker Greg Jones (#53). Coach Dantonio secured the most wins by a Spartan head coach in his first two years while leading MSU to its first back-to-back bowl appearances since 1996-97 and its first consecutive winning seasons since 1989-90. Dantonio's 2009 recruiting class was ranked in the top 25. Dantonio was one of only 15 semifinalists for the George Munger Coach of the Year Award in 2008. Junior linebacker Greg Jones was named 2009 preseason defensive player of year in Big 10, and after week 4, is ranked 2nd in nation in total tackles according to the NCAA. The ball was hand signed by all three Spartans during Mark Dantonio's weekly radio show on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Don't miss out on this authentic MSU sports memorabilia item!
