Item Description
Picture this: You and up to three friends, lazily sailing up the Potomac on the Gatsby, a classic boat piloted by Villager Pierre Wagner. You depart from Columbia Island around 10 am, going upriver toward Fletcher Cove, where you anchor for a superb lunch prepared by Claire Wagner. After your delicious lunch, you head down river into the Washington Channel to observe the recent construction and installations of the new Wharf neighborhood along Maine Avenue. You'll return around 4 pm. For boat aficionados, the Gatsby was built in 1983 by Express Yacht of Canada based on a design dating from 1922. She runs at a comfortable 6 to 7 knots.
