John Pastoriza Piñol
John is a contemporary botanical artist based in Melbourne Australia and very much a neo-conservative, a rebel who believes in the unique understanding that is born of the relationship between eye and hand, between sense and thought. Being a recipient of many awards and accolades has afforded him international recognition as one of Australia’s foremost contemporary botanical artists. John was the recipient of the ASBA Diane Bouchier Artist Award for Excellence in Botanical Art in 2013.
