Item Description

Photography

70 x 60 x 1"

The pleasure of this photo is in the way it arranges for the viewer an array of colors through a seemingly simple start of purple, yellow, and white. The purple shades, with the right complement, can suggest a metallic silver undertone. The yellow, if played with, can express a gold, even brassy mustard. Every pedal is speckled with pollen, pulling in a tolerable dusting of royal dark aborigine just enough on each to accent the blend of sunset and lavender underneath.

Kristin Capezio holds a BA in English & Creative Writing, an MA in Critical & Creative Thinking, a Post Graduate Degree in Ed Administration and is completing her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. She currently works as the Ed Director for School on Wheels of MA, a non-profit serving the educational needs of youth living in shelters. As an artist, she writes poetry and uses a Nikon 3200 to shoot in the natural world.
