Item Description
This beautiful vintage, footed cake stand is the 'Blue Danube' (Japan) pattern. It's stamped with the banner mark on the bottom.
The Blue Danube onion pattern was inspired by a similar pattern created during the Yuan dynasty (1260-1368 A.D.) in China The flowers in the Blue Danube pattern depict the ancient Chinese symbols of good fortune and happiness.
