First Thought, Best Thought from Kalapa Media is a collection of 108 poems selected from over 400 poems composed by Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche between 1968 and 1983. Presented in chronological order, the majority were composed directly in English. The rest were written in Tibetan and then translated into English by the author. Favourites include "Stray Dog," "To Gesar of Ling," "How to Know No," and "1111 Pearl St."
