Item Description

Artwork Title: Shore Line

Artist: Morgan Dyer

All information was provided by the artist in their own words.

Materials: "Hyper Striper" artwork is about 3 ft. wide x 1 ft. tall and made of .5 in. Versatex (PVC). Layered acrylic paints and ink

Description: My Hyper Striper, Shore Line, is 100% inspired through it's title. In my painting practice, I'm extremely drawn to exciting intersections of layered moments in nature and try to capture it through acrylic paints. When the shore line meets with the sand, it leaves thin lines that disappear. On my Bass, I'm trying to capture the changes of light the shore line receives throughout the day.

About the Artist: Morgan Dyer is a fine artist based out of Gloucester, MA. Since graduating from Montserrat College of Art in 2013, Dyer has lived on the North Shore building a full time art career through her large scale paintings. You can find her in her studio at Porter Mill Studios in Beverly, MA when she’s not painting within the landscape. The motivation behind her work is rooted in painting yet is beginning to span performance, murals, installation and photography.
