Chelsea's Hope Lafora Children Research Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity supporting research aimed at curing Lafora Disease, a devastating form of epilepsy that strikes previously normal teenagers and is usually fatal within 10 years. There have been major break-throughs and a cure is within reach, but progress is hindered by limited funding.
