The Rialto Square Theatre is a former Vaudeville movie palace built in the 1920's and restored by a large community effort in the 1980's. The theatre is a not-for-profit, 501(c) 3 organization operated by the Will County Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority. The theatre is considered one of the most beautiful theatres in the nation. The mission of the Rialto Square Theatre is to lead a performing arts community partnership to enrich the quality of life by encouraging artistic and cultural development.
