For five decades TheatreworksUSA's mission has been to create, produce, and provide access to professional theatre for young and family audiences nationwide, including disadvantaged youth and under-served communities. TheatreworksUSA is America's largest and most prolific professional not-for-profit theatre for young and family audiences. Since 1961, we have enlightened, entertained, and instructed over 78 million people in 49 states and Canada. We have presented more than 90 million children with the opportunity to enjoy our theatrical productions. Last year alone we brought 29 productions to 44 states! Our goal is to continue doing what we have successfully accomplished for fifty years: giving America's children their first thrilling day at the theatre!
