Junior Achievement of Washington was established in 1953 and founded nationally in 1919. JA Worldwide is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. JA of Washington will reach more than 115,000 kindergarten through 12th grade students this year. More than 2,465 teachers in 63 area school districts and private schools will integrate Junior Achievement programs into their classrooms. JA of Washington's 5000 volunteer consultants come from all walks of life and include business people, college students, parents, and retirees. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of the organization. Helping the young people across Washington State reach their boundless potential is an effort assisted through the support and financial generosity of many.
