The Reston Children's Center (RCC) is a private, parent-owned cooperative which operates a non-profit community program to serve the developmental and educational needs of children and to provide support systems for families.  Founded in 1967, RCC provides infant and toddler care, preschool education, kindergarten, before and after school enrichment and summer camp for children in preschool through sixth grade.

Reston Children's Center seeks to promote innovative learning opportunities and individual creativity through a developmental curriculum model.  The different ways in which children learn and the importance of fostering independence and self-worth are vital aspects of program planning.  Over 200 families are currently served by RCC.
