Dodo Ask

Joe “Dodo” Nee was our generous, funny, compassionate and much-loved “Ollie Champion.” A 20+ year member of our Board of Directors and a neighborhood legend, Dodo began his Ollie career as a kid – and he stayed with us – and all the other many agencies, groups and individuals he helped over the years – until the very end of his days. 

Dodo’s fundraising efforts – and techniques – were legendary. No one could refuse him – and yet he somehow always managed to leave donors with a smile on their face.  His ability to inspire others to give often and generously to the causes he cared so deeply about benefited countless individuals and families over the years.
